What is Congregational Care?

At Christ Community Church, not only are we dedicated to bringing all the saving grace of Jesus, but we also strive to care, train and uplift the members of the body of Christ. We accomplish this through various ministries that reach out to our church families and local community.

Congregational Care comes alongside those  who are in need of emotional and practical support, spiritual direction, prayer and encouragement.

Congregational Care is dedicated to serving the families in our church and our community by connecting them to resources within Christ Community Church and the community.

Prayer at Christ Community Church

Prayer is the practice of talking with and listening to God.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

financial coaching / counseling

We live in a culture that says our resources (time, talent, and treasure) are a private matter and what we do with them is our business. Yet we need to understand and live out our role as stewards or managers of our life's resources (time, talent, and treasure) for God's purposes.

We believe there are 3 points to understanding stewardship:

  1. God's part...God owns and sustains everything. (Psalm 24:1)

  2. Our Part...We are stewards of whatever God entrusts to us. (1 Corinthians 4:1-2)

  3. The Result...God is glorified; the Body experiences contentment; and we are focused on blessing those with whom we come in contact. (Philippians 4:12)
