The CM Team

I am Jackie Lambert Pastor of Children’s Ministry at CCC! I am married to an incredible husband named Mike and two wonderful daughters, one is 19 and is wrestling at Central Christian College, and I have a 16 year old who attends Bella Vista Highschool! I have worked in the teaching field for 21 years. I have a deep passion and love for Jesus and am so blessed to be able to work at CCC. We have an AMAZING Children’s team who helps partner with families and helps kids grow in their faith and love for Jesus! The best part about working at CCC it allows me to provide a safe place for children to grow and develop their relationship with Jesus, friends and their teachers!

“My name is Andrea Short and I am the admin assistant for Club 54. I have been involved with our children’s ministry here at CCC for about 3 years now, prior to that I worked in the medical field. I am currently attending American River College working towards a degree in human services. I have two amazing kids, my son works as a personal trainer and coach and my daughter is currently a high school student. On my days off I like to be outdoors as much as possible enjoying a hike, the river, or taking a day trip. I am so blessed that I get to witness kids learning about Jesus and growing in their faith.

“Hi my name is Moses Park and I am the K-3rd grade Assistant! I’m 23 years old with a passion for FOOD, sports and music. When I’m not on campus my days are usually filled with “gyming” and eating! I will be continuing my studies at Sacramento State to become a Physical Therapist. Along with this ministry and my studies, I spend a lot of my time running a food blog. So, I guess you can say I am a “Foodie”. When it come to this Children’s Ministry, I’ve always had a heart to serve and when I first became a member here at Christ Community, I knew I wanted to get involved somewhere. I started volunteering with the 5pm and CR services on a weekly basis and immediately felt a connection. My love and passion for this ministry is continually growing. To be able to dive into the word of God and be in fellowship with these Kiddos is an amazing experience. It is such a blessing to be able to help these children grow in their faith. Being in a position like this has also strengthened my personal walk with God. This season of my life has been filled with many blessings and growing moments and I give thanks to God and this ministry.”

Kids Ministry Check-in

Birth - 4 yrs

Nursery

In nursery, our Kindercuddler staff lovingly cares for infants through 2-year-olds. We follow California guidelines for adult/child ratios and practice well-child policies.

Divided by developmental age, children can play inside, outside on our playground, or take buggy rides for change of scenery.  2-year-olds get told Bible stories, sing, and begin to learn simple finger plays.  Once potty-trained, 3 year olds move into our preschool division at set times throughout the year.

In preschool children experience a combination of free choice activities, small group connections, and creative storytelling.  Every few weeks, themes change and characters tell Bible stories in a fun and engaging way.  In small groups, age appropriate activities help children apply biblical truths.

K - 3rd Grade

Elementary

The K/1st and 2nd/3rd divisions give kids a way to connect with God and with each other. Each division has a large group/small group format.

Kids have a place to come where they belong to a group, people know them, they have a purpose of being there, and they can see themselves and each other grow.

We have students placed into a small group when they arrive, so they can make a connection with their teacher and friend.

club 54

Club 54 is a youth group for preteens. We create an environment that is just for 4th and 5th grade students where they can grow closer to Christ! As a part of Christ Community Church, we aim to create fully committed followers of Jesus Christ through love, acceptance, and forgiveness.
